Ehh I like a few songs off of Big Boi's album much better. Daddy Fat Sax, Shutterbug, Hustle Blood, and Fo Yo Sorrows.

There's plenty of choice cuts on that record, but IMHO "General Patton" just slayed every rap track I've heard this year.

Cee-Lo can manufacture catchy singles, but he never delivers on the records. So yea, fuck Cee-Lo, I prefer Skee-Lo.

That "ooo, ooo, oooo" has been in my head for a couple days now. Which is not, in any way, a complaint.

I first heard this on the Low Budget FM podcast. Today I downloaded the song. It's fucking great. So funny that you started this thread today as that's all I've been talking about today. Hits real close to home right now with the situation I'm in at the moment.

oh crap

This song has been hyped up since it came out, was NOT crazy about it the first time but on second and third listen it's gotten better. I was gonna make a thread about it last night but got drunkenly distracted.

I completely disagree with Stringer Bell..

Perfect Imperfections and Soul Machine are both very, very good albums..

IMO they don't sniff his work on Soul Food or Still Standing, to poppy. My faves he appears on are both Outkast songs tho - Git Up, Git Out and In Due Time. There are some good singles and his solo stuff isn't bad, I just prefer his other stuff.

git up, git out is a fucking classic

I tend to love pretty much everything Cee-Lo does because he's got one of my very favorite voices in recent/current music. Speaking or singing. He could release a musical version of the phone book and I would probably think it was awesome.

This song is too damn catchy for it to avoid radio play. Countdown to forget you.

A physical copy of the song will also hit stores on Sept. 21, followed by the late-fall release of both the family-friendly radio edit version, “Forget You,”and the album it comes from, Lady Killer.

Sorry, but "forget you" would reduce the song's quality and genius so much.

I heard the forget you version a few days ago (maybe a week ago?) on Mix. I thought of this thread right away as I hadn't clicked on it. I agree 10000% the non radio edit is better, but give it a few months and even the clean version will be a hit.

Cee loo

I can't believe america and the assholes across the pond are eating this latter day 70's soul dog vomit shit up.

This music doesn't give white people "soul" for liking it, it makes them look them even more soul less. They might aswell all start wearing addidas jump suits, head bands, and watch medallions if they want to be more upfront for their taste in this huge minstrel show.

Black people haven't produced shit for music since their greatest era of Count Basie/Ellington ---> Bitches Brew, Miles Davis. Everything else is the genius of their fathers dumbed down, peddled by corporate Jew executives in black face.

Just like white people haven't done shit likewise since the Greater German Common era of Beethoven----> Brahms/Wagner. Every thing else has been driven by asshole Jews like mahler, strauss, kiss, the people who hired elvis.

And i'm no jew hater, i support the state of Israel on the principle of shared interest in individual rights and self determination, and i love Benny Goodman.
