So does anyone think the 15lbs weight loss helped Timmy last season?

I know it factored into the equation of taking the weight/pressure off of his knees so he could last longer in the playoffs, but in the end he seemed to wear down.

Was it beneficial?

Pros: Faster, more agile, less pressure on the joints

Cons: Gets moved around easily down low, harder to man up the BIG bigs. It also didn't help Matt fuckin Bonner was his partner in the post, with his t-rex arms.

Younger TD was still around the 260lbs range. He only looked better because well, you said it... he was YOUNGER.

When TD first came into the league, he was a lighter 245 lbs.

Timmy weighed 248 pounds when he entered the league. He got up to 260 around 2004. I'm assuming he's about 240-245 pounds currently. He was always listed at 248.

You mean having Matt Bonner starting next to him wore him down. If Splitter is a remotely competent defender, people will be surprised at a) how much better Duncan's defense gets and b) how much more spry he is later in the season.

Yeah it did. Keeping those knees and joints healthy is always a good thing. And I don't think we have to worry about Timmy killing himself this Season trying to execute and defend Pick-N-Rolls with a guy like Tiago, who is great with the Pick-N-Roll on both sides of the court.

He knows that, hence the smiley tongue, but he just means she looks better on the one on the left.
