Spurs should try and go for him.

I don't want this low-efficiency player on our team to clog up the guard rotation.

He makes 10 million/year. Who do you think we should offer?

No thanks.

What do you mean "low efficiency"? The man leads the league in four point plays. Scoring doesn't get any more efficient than that!

so Spurs should trade for a position where they already have by far the most options? (Manu, Hill, Anderson, Neal, Temple) yeah. that makes sense.

Crawford has been known to have questionable shot selection.

:lol

The Spurs should do something Crawford doesn't: Pass.

trade crawford for jefferson

A trade that would make both teams worse.

Jamal is one of my favourite players but he would be a horrible fit for us

Huh? Crawford's TS % last season was .573, and his eFG % .523 (both career highs if you don't count 01/02, where Crawford only played 23 games).
I'm not saying the Spurs should or could get him, but he was pretty good as a 6th man for the Hawks last year.

And also his only above average efficiency year for his career was last season. Was given free reign to chuck all his career.

We are too stacked at the guard position as it is, no thanks.

There is this thread and no one has created the "Spurs should trade for Carmelo Anthony" thread yet? What is this forum coming to. :wakeup

Crawford for RJ? Just throwing it up there, I don't even know if I would like to do that.

You wouldn't. You'd have -- at best -- one SF (Anderson) if you did this.

There isn't much difference between SG and SF in the Spurs system or any team's system for that matter, let's be real, Basketball positions shouldn't be separated in guards, forwards and centers. It should be: Point guards, wingmen and bigmen.

Gotta get Crawford first in order to have something the Nuggets would want.

3pt shooting too.

3pt shooting too.

Agreed, but a back-court of Steve Kerrs would get abused by taller players, y'know? There really is something to be said for being able to put an arm up to alter shots -- something shorter guys can't always do.

HELL NO, I have never ever been a fan of this dude and would not even if he were on this team! He has a low % and horrible shot selection, very streaky.

the spurs already wasted 10 million on another player

Bonner, McDyess, RJ, Neal, Gee, Jerrells and the rights to Richards work in the Trade Machine!

Again, gotta get something they'd want first. A chucker who can put up gaudy numbers with no impact on wins would draw their interest.
