EuroBasket is better than Olympics. It might not be better than World Championship, but it very close, but for sure it is better (MUCH better) than Olympics are. And Olympics has US and Argentina.

Actually he was banned 3 games. In FIBA that is the maximum ban. There is only 5-9 games possible in a whole year. So he was banned for 33-60 percent of the games.

So it is like a huge suspension in NBA.....27 to 49 games NBA suspension.

I think it can easily go both ways. I am a bit disappointed to see two of my favorites face each other so early in the tournament. I was counting on one of these two teams to upset the USA.

Other than Bourousis no single player has improved on their 06. KBP might say Spanoulis is better now, but he will not play a better game than what he did against the US in 06. He caught lightning in a bottle in that game, even being able to hit outside shots which he rarely does.

If anything the Turks have a lot of size upfront to possibly make it difficult for them. Both Erden and Asik have played quite well, and their wings can score. But they are generally a young team, with little experience at elite competitions, wich is overperforming because they are playing in front of their own crowds. Few expected them to do this well this early though.

I don't think Argentina have a chance either. And Brazil probably blew their best chance in the group game.
