Current poll at NBA.com:

Which Western Conference player is most likely to decline in 2010-11?

Tony Parker: 36%

Baron Davis: 44%

Lamar Odom: 21%

I wonder how they chose the candidates in the first place.

Interesting that people would bet on a guy who is still quite young, used the summer to tighten his game and conditioning, and is going into a contract year. Can't say Tony would be my first choice.

Strange poll. I'm not sure how Parker ends up on a list like that. Predicting the decline of players seems like a stupid thing to bring up on NBA.com. It's sort of like the NFL asking which player will be suspended first or MLB asking which guy will fail a drug test first.

Weird that he's on that list since he already declined last yr. Maybe it's meant to mean decline a new contract?

Its contract time...Parker is going to have his best year since 08.

He's already said he's never worked this hard in the offseason before.

Contract year, looking to possibly bail.
I think Parker may have one of his best years.

More NBA hate dished out for the Spurs...

I'll bet his decline is predicted due to the emergence of George Hill and the likelyhood that Hill will probably eat into Parker's minutes at the PG position

TP on the list makes no sense at all seeing as after last years horrible season there is nowhere to go but up for him...

Random shit, and totally retarded, in the Spurs alone Manu and Tim are better candidates to decline than Parker.

Typically you expect decline from players who OVERachieved the year before.

lol, Baron Davis, Lamar Odom, and then Tony Parker. Tony Parker should have a better season though, not worse.

Tony will be better this year I hope, good lord how could it get worse than last year with the down year and injuries? He should be back up this year.

Baron Davis has reportedly gained 45 pounds over this summer. You can't safely lose it in a short time. The poll is ridiculous.

That tub will automatically decline in minutes, nevermind his play. Speed will increase to the team buffets.

Can Baron Davis actually decline? Isn't it like asking whether Marion or Kidd could decline next year? They already seem to be at the bottom.

Parker will be fine this season. He has rested all summer and should have one of the best years of his career. That said, this will probably be the last year of him at a dominant level of play...especially with his plans to play during the summer over the next couple of years.
