slot receiver..not too shabby...you got a hell of a deal for a conditional 7th rounder. We basically were getting rid of him to save a little cash. Did drop some big passes over the years, but has been decent going over the middle lately, and getting better at punt returns.

i still remember that drop against the giants in the playoffs i think when the cowboys went 13-3, crayton was basically by himself and dropped the ball on third down, never trusted him as a wide reciver after that.

Yeah..I'll never forget that. He had a straight shot to the end zone, and we win that game..that was the year the Giants won the SB...

really? After all the clutch third down catches and after contantly showing hes willing to take a big hit in order to make a big catch you still never trusted him? Because of one catch?

Really, it doesn't matter whether you trusted him or not, because Romo sure as hell did. Way more then he trust Ogletree, Hurd or even Roy Williams and Dez Bryant for that matter.

Well, I agree that he trusted Crayton, but to say he trusted him more than he trusts Dez isn't known, because Dez and him were never on the same field. And anytime Hurd actually hits the field, Romo would throw it his way a lot. He did trust him more than Roy..which is saying something, but Ogletree is obvious...he's better than Ogletree..at least for now. I do think they should have gotten more for him, though...but they wanted to free up some bucks..it came to either him or Hurd, and he makes more...

tbh, this involves the Chargers too...it's a trade thread..doesn't need to go in the Cowboys only thread.
