See this sort of shit pisses me off. Where does the old bitch get the nerve to smack someone like that and then expect not to be hit back?

I honestly don't get it. I mean, I'm a peaceful person, I never get into fistfights but if you are a women and you slap me like that expect to be slapped back.

Seriously, where do these women get nerve??

No, no. I'm not necessarily disagreeing w/ you. I'm just curious what mighta' caused this whole back-n-forth in the first place. The camera guy seemed to just assume it was the young guy's fault that all this shit started. I'm not so sure...

He was making noise during the match (apparently) because the woman told him to shut up. The young guy said f off I got money riding on this game I can do what I want, so the woman slapped him. The old man kicked the young guys stuff and took a swing and missed, then the young guy threw him down.

So that guy gets hit by the others guys wife AND the husband and HE gets thrown out? :lmao Once the guy got slapped, go get security and escort the lady and the husband out. All the crowd saw was a young guy arguieing against some old people so people assumed it was the young guys fault.

I was once inline at a bank and this old guy was in the wrong line so I went up, I guess he though he was inline by not being in the actual line. He came up and banged the fuck outta my window and was yelling at me. I roll my window down and proceded to give him a verbal beatdown about scaring the fuck outta me and banging on my window. He had this suprised look at went back to his vehicle. Everyone there thought it was my fault just cause I yelled at the old guy but I was sitting in my truck minding my business while some guy came up and banged on my window and was yelling.

Trust me, when you got money on a match.... you get angered easily. I don't know tennis if there is a not talking/shouting rule in play or whatever.

That's the problem with society...a guy can stay reserved and not do a damn thing, but old people and bitches can get away with starting shit. The old man fell over HIMSELF, not the young guy (I'd be ashamed if I was the old guy). But tennis crowds are retarded, they pay money to watch something that's much better enjoyed at home.

Shit was over, his bitch wasnt even being physically abused or anything.

Bitches like her I'm sure are used to verbal fights all the time, so whats the big fucking deal.

No need to attack a guy after he sits down and shit is settling down.

The old fuck shoulda intervened a couple minutes prior and not after things basically end.

Rare high quality video of an incident like this.

I echo the sentiment here. The guy may have been a jerk/annoying and a non-favorite of the crowd in general but he never touched anyone. He was put in a bad spot because an old lady comes up and slaps him and then her grandfather comes up and tries to accost him. Then when he does defend himself, he looks like the bad guy because he's in his 20s and the old man is closing in on the century mark.

Looked like the dying lineage of a punk family thinking they could just put their hands on someone because he didn't back down from whatever he was doing at the event. If he was doing something that egregious that broke the rules of Tennis crowd, just go get someone from event staff.

You can't just go around slapping people - ala Homer Simpson in the duel episode - just because you're elderly/old/female.

Oh, Gee!!

exactly.

what a waste of time and energy by all three jackasses. The easiest, fastest, least stressful, and smartest thing the young guy could have done would have been to just say "you're right, lady." she would have sat down and none of this would have happened.

He did sit down. He was telling the lady to sit down the whole time, and then he sat down, and the old man decided he wanted to start something.

All three of them have been banned from the US Open through 2012. The old man and woman should get lifetime bans.

If you EVER lay your hands on someone, your age/gender/size doesn't matter anymore. You started it, prepare for the other person to end it, because they have every right in the world to defend themselves physically.

Somewhat similar to the Amber Lamps situation, in which a person attempts to attack someone who has sat down and attempted to put the situation in the past. It's a horribly cowardly thing to do to attack someone who's in a sitting position and thus has no leverage to defend themselves. Funny that in both cases, the respective party got beat down. :lol

I think if that happened on the street (somewhere where there are more space for fighting), people are gonna bum rush that guy just because he was up against a physically abusive woman and a man who thinks just because he is old, he has the right to assault someone.

Such is the reality that when women, seniors or disabled people become physical with someone who looks stronger than them, people will always side on the "weaker" party until they realize who was really at fault.

1. Bitch was wrong for slapping regardless of circumstance. If she has a problem with him and after she requested for him to do whatever she did and it escalates, get security.

2. He took a slap and did nothing back. Props to him.

3. Slap pretty much means he shouldn't get kicked out and she should.

4. Old dude should've realized his daughter (I believe she says it's her dad) was being a bitchy woman and let the fight die.

5. Whoever the guy is saying "gettim outta here" should get his ass kicked.

Oh, Gee!!

that's my point. why waste his time going back and forth with her for 5 minutes? it could have been over 1.5 seconds if he would have said "you're right," even if she wasn't right. I've added years to my life by saying those words to idiots.

It seemed like everyone was aggravated by him, so they may have heard him making noise during the points and that's what annoyed them. I don't know why everybody fixated on the random theory that they just took her side because she was a woman.

He could have just as easily been a loud, obnoxious rambling drunk (he did have a big spill on his shirt right from the beginning) and that couple was the only ones to confront him even though everyone else probably wanted to. Tbh I was seated to the loudest, most annoying, fat drunk fuck during a Cowboys game last year who kept screaming vulgarities during the game at the players on the other team who could not possibly hear him from where we were sitting and rubbing his sweat on me as he got up and down and swayed around. A guy with kids told him to watch the language and it turned into a 20 minute fiasco. Took all I had to not knock the fuck out of him.

Fans banned after tennis brawl

Three tennis fans involved in a brawl Thursday night have been banned from attending the U.S. Open through the 2012 event.

Banned from the grounds were Joseph Pedeville, a 27-year-old who was reportedly yelling obscenities which led to an altercation with 49-year-old Tracey Falco and her 75-year-old father Lawrence Burnett. The video of the fight, which included Falco slapping Pedeville and Burnett falling down several rows of seats, was a television and Internet sensation following the Thursday night altercation.

The fight broke out in the upper deck of Arthur Ashe Stadium during a match between Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner. The two stopped playing for a time before order was restored.

The New York Post said it tracked down Burnett at his home in East Stroudsburg, Pa., on Friday, where he said: "I'm in a lot of pain. I was defending my daughter. The guy is a jerk." Following the altercation, the three fans were taken to a police station in Queens, where they were given trespass warnings. The ban through Sept. 30, 2012 came on Friday. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/usopen10/news/story?id=5531111

I think several people have acknowledged that he was probably being a loud, obnoxious drunk. IMO, that's exactly why you get up and find security. What did she accomplish in her conformation? Nothing - rather she and her father escalated matter by assaulting him.

I have never seen anyone confront an obnoxious drunk person with the situation being easily resolved. Did she really think he was going to say "yes ma'am, I'm so sorry!" if he's really that disruptive?

I love how everyone else just stands around instead of backing up the people telling the guy to be quiet. That woman is lucky she didn't get knocked unconscious. It seems like it would have been much much simpler to just get up, go to the nearest security guard and ask them to tell the guy to shut up.

This kind of confrontation was probably inevitable, as the tennis fans in New York have gotten progressively more obnoxious over the years, and there hasn't seemed to be much effort by Flushing Meadows to do anything about it.

While I understand some foul language is going to be used many families still like to have a place where they can take and spend time with their kids without having to hear all the foul language. I've told some fan before to stop the foul language and he understood.

Shitty situation where most of the blame lies on the slow ass security and the stupidity of the two fat, ugly, and old people involved. Of course being a young asshat doesn't help either but if it takes more than a simple request for him to STFU, then call security.

If that young dude was at a MLB game or some shit he would've been tazed by security since it looks pretty bad to be the guy yelling and throwing old people around. Yeesh.

Point taken but then don't market sporting events as family friendly and state on the tickets that foul language is the norm and make the events PG-13. If this guy would have been confronted by a man the situtation would have been different. I haven't had any issues when I've asked a guy to watch his language. Maybe since it was an over weight female it made him think he had bigger balls than if a man asked him to shut up.

Firstly, I refuse to believe it's impossible to enjoy a public sporting event without acting like an ass.

Secondly, I resent the attitude that everyone should just shut up and deal with the person(s) acting like an ass because, hey, it's a public sporting event and that behavior should just be expected/tolerated.

This isn't really related to the posted video, for the record, because everyone there was an idiot. But, if you're at a public event and the person behind you is being a loud, obnoxious, asshole, it really shouldn't be THAT difficult to politely ask them to stop. Nor should it be THAT difficult for them to stop acting like a loud, obnoxious, asshole.

People, in general, need to stop treating the outside world like their living room. Shit drives me crazy.

He was driving me deaf and I cocked my fist at one point. Of course in hindsight I should have gotten someone, but that seemed like the bitch move at the time. Ratting on someone etc.

Agree with what you have said in this thread. There needs to be some common ground, it isn't a one way street. Heckling is a part of sports and I have little problem with it if it doesn't get retarded like with the fat fuck you described at the Cowboys game... drunk, annoying fuckheads who cannot be heard by the players are fucking morons.

But nonetheless, bitch and old man deserved to be knocked out. And by saying that, I don't necessarily imply that the opposite is true. The young dude quite possibly deserved the slap too. People, in general, are stupid.

Everybody in that video deserves to die. Everyone. The three morons and the mouth breathers yelling the same dumb crap over and over while doing nothing.

:lol : lol :lol

I wholeheartedly agree, should have read this post sooner before posting my initial 2 because I was thinking the same, almost word for word.

Glad to see there are some smart people in the world...

I don't know why I haven't changed my username to this yet, but as I say in about 38% of my posts these days, people are stupid. The vast majority of the world's population consists of very dumb people. And this drives me nuts because I think, for many of us as people, at least in this country, are well off enough and have the resources to NOT have an excuse to be so retarded. I mean I'm only 20, really just in the beginning of the time in my life where I truly think about things more in depth, yet such a high %-age of people don't know shit about shit. There are times, like now, where I believe no one truly thinks about things...just literally takes some time every now and then, sit or lay down, and do nothing but think. If more people did this, we wouldn't be so stupid (humans).

u know whats fckd up about this video

all the other guys just standing and watchin or holding down the guy while some clown cheap punches him...

i thought the girl was from the same group as him

What I vaguely remember from the thread when this video first showed up was that it was it was a show kind of like America's Got Talent (only not in America obviously). The two guys did some dance number which didn't go over well. The woman was a judge who was supposed to be bitchy like Simon Cowell. So her telling them to fuck off was well within the realm of what was to be expected but the guy was never told that it might get physical so he hauled off and popped her right back. Still funny after all this time.
