Name a band that makes really good music but doesn't get national attention. I will listen to them and give an honest opinion as I don't have any biases against most genres of music.

I'am not sure if that's music or random slashing with EMG pickups with a dog barking in the background.

I think they get national attention but very little. Lead singer has a voice(and a nice afro) and they make good love song music but the videos... the videos need to burn in a fire.

Good normal country song, nothing too special.
Wade Bowen (though he gets a little attention..not much)
dvi6erQtLFQHis song writing is a lot better than his guitar playing. The song was really good because most times songs start slow, have a climax and come back down. This one just kept getting better and better all the way till the end.

Josh Abbott Band
WXZ2Hk2BvrwThey are pretty famous already.

Wade - His song writing is a lot better than his guitar playing. The song was really good because most times songs start slow, have a climax and come back down. This one just kept getting better and better all the way till the end. EDIT* Don't know why I mention music writing as I read that he didn't write that song but the rest stands.

Brandon - Good normal country song, nothing too special.

Josh Abbott - They are pretty famous already I believe.

Meh..not really. Brandon Rhyder is just now getting famous, thanks to a lot of fan support...Wade and Josh are a little more famous, I'll admit, but depending on where you go, not a lot of people have heard of all 3 of them. Wade didn't actually write "Mood Ring," but it's my favorite song by him. I really like "You Burn Me," too. No opinion on "Taste?"

I went to the Lords of Acid/Thrill Kill Kult show a couple of weeks ago and caught a band called Blownload. The leadsinger is a whale of a man; very amusing and very sloppy. It was one of the best opening shows I've ever seen.

I personally like the Valence Band:

http://www.chemistry.wustl.edu/~edudev/LabTutorials/PeriodicProperties/MetalBonding/images/semiconduction.jpg

It's lesser-known but radio-worthy singles include electricity and light. But the band was never the same after Niels Bohr left the group for Linkin Quark and their album the Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion Theory. The paparazzi saw everyone literally "split" after that:

http://www.mikeblaber.org/oldwine/chm1045/notes/Geometry/VSEPR/sncl3.jpg

I noticed later on Fermi decided to break out on his own to make Specific Heat. That was a pretty hot single for awhile on the album -2 Degrees and Rising:
