Interesting, however it seems it's not really designed to work like a speed bump. With a normal speed bump an inattentive driver might notice it late and hit the brakes to take it at a reasonable speed. These seem like they could just as easily make a driver panic and slam on their brakes with traffic behind them or, worse yet, swerve.

Let's get reckless drivers to become comfortable driving through illusory children so that they will be conditioned to ignore any real children that cross their paths. Wish I'd thought of that.

The scenario I see is that people will get used to them, then plow down a child dressed similar to the illusion.

Fail. This is happening in a town of 40,000 people however. I could give a shit what they do.

Wouldn't it be ironic though if the girl in this illusion was hit by a car in real life?
