Nash will still be a tough pull from OK-State, as he has family ties, but he is loving the attention from Book, and with the class AZ is putting together to go along with an upper-classman foundation of Derrick Williams, Solomon Hill, Momo Jones, Kevin Parrom and Jesse Perry, a recruit would be foolish not to join.

Damn, for a defense with 7 new starters, it couldn't look much better than it did yesterday. He might do some dumb things as a coach but Stoops ability to scout juco players is unreal, Derek Earls has crazy athleticism and pursuit abilities for an unknown juco linebacker. Unbelievable performance by the defense against a good offense, and Nick Foles finally came alive when they needed it. Cal blew that game with its kicker missing a FG late that woulda sealed the deal, but this is a great team when it can pull out a win after looking so shitty for 58 minutes. 4-0, and the biggest concern is the offense, the unit that was supposed to carry them, has been below average for two weeks now. They have a lot to figure out in two weeks before the Beavers come to town.
