AD is the only person remotely connected to the state of Washington that I feel bad for right now. He was awesome this series.

Perhaps the stars will align and he will find his way back to San Antonio. He's a different player now than he was as a Spur.

Props to AD 22 pts and 5 assists 8-10 from the line
That drive and basket to get within 2 was awesome.

We have no room to talk about missing FTs..

I love AD the same way I love Jack, Mario, The Rifleman, Carr, Kerr, TC, etc., but there is no way I want him back now. He's still not a point guard and he's too small to be a SG when you have Devin Brown able to back the position up.... not that Devin is better than AD, but he gives the Spurs more to work with in matchups IMO. Still, amazing series from AD.

AD played a very solid series overall....he stepped up...props....and he is probably the classiest player on the Sonics....which wouldn't be hard anyways.

The dude beat the Spurs in game 3 at the line, and he's a choker because he scores 22 points in game 6 and only shoots 80% from the line?

ducks

ad choked because he missed one of 2 free throws with less then 30 seconds in a big game

forget what he did up to that point. HE CHOKED
HE IS NOT A CAREER 50% free throw shooting therefore he choked!

Dre_7

Yeah but Manu missed a freethrow just seconds before that. Did he "choke"?

You can't forget what he did up to that point. AD shot 100 percent from the line in game 3 and shot 80% from the line in game 6. You can't reset his percentage whenever it suits you, and you certainly can't call him a choker and not expect to be told what an idiotic statement it is.

He scored way above his average in the series and shot above his average from the line. The guy doesn't even start and he carried the team. That's the same moronic attitude that makes people criticize Duncan after after he scores 38 points.

Shit, who here wouldn't rather have Antonio Daniels instead of Brent Barry going into PHX?

That's what I thought.

I'll take Barry over AD, thanks. Barry makes better decisions with the ball and is a far better shooter. The upcoming series is where he earns his money or cements his reputation.

If you're an 80% FT shooter your chances of hitting both are only 64%. Cut the guy some slack. Missing one FT late doesn't make a guy a choker. Leave that label for the Chris Webbers and KGs of the world.
