Total vBookie $$ won since SpursTalk.com's inception: $1,246,914

Total vBookie $$ won on "How will the Spurs-Sonics series end up?": $369,504

Which means this one event accounted for 30% of the total winnings in vBookie history. Well played.

From now on, when it comes to 'Which spur will score/dish/grab/etc. the most points/assists/rebounds/steals/TOs" type of bets, it will be Manu all the way (maybe not rebounds, 'cause with Nazr and TD he does't have a chance).

MaNuMaNiAc
05-20-2005, 12:56 PM
Don't be so sure, TP usually gets more assists than Manu. I just don't know why he decided not make assists last night LOL! He screwed me over!

If I were a Rich Man

SMEAGOL: "Dear God, you made many, many poor people.
SLOMO: I realize, of course, that it's no shame to be poor. But it's no great honor either!
MANUMANIA[B]: So, what would have been so terrible if I had a small fortune?"

(singing)
If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.

I'd fill my yard with chicks and turkeys and geese and ducks
For the town to see and hear.
And each loud "cheep" and "swaqwk" and "honk" and "quack"
Would land like a trumpet on the ear,
As if to say "Here lives a wealthy man."

I see my wife, my dearest, looking like a rich man's wife
With a proper double-chin.
Supervising meals to her heart's delight.
I see her putting on airs and strutting like a peacock.
Oy, what a happy mood she's in.
Screaming at the servants, day and night.

The most important men in town would come to fawn on me!
They would ask me to advise them,
Like a Solomon the Wise.
"If you please, Smeagol"
"Pardon me, Slomo..."
"What do you think, Manumania"
Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes!
And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong.
When you're rich, they think you really know!

If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man.

Good one Spurzila.

Actually, its the Spurs I have to thank. I had faith in them and they delivered. Things were not looking good after game 4 (lots of people in this forum were jumping ship) but the Spurs came through.

Feels good to be Vrich, but it feels much better to have the Spurs in the WCF.

does this mean you guys were actually happy the spurs dropped games 3 and 4 in Seattle?

does this mean you guys were actually happy the spurs dropped games 3 and 4 in Seattle? Weak atempt at discrediting us.

The vBookie event was up after the game 4 loss, when many fans were jumping off the wagon. I can remember exactly who said fuck it I believe they'll do it in six and I'll bet all my money on it, and quite a few of us followed suit (of course some had more than others :eyebrows)

Vbookie does not appear to be a strength of yours, RtD.

The bets were made after game 4.

I have to agree. I didn't have as much vcash as you guys, but I bet all that I had... I knew they would do it. And despite the newest ankle tweak, we're going to be OK in the WCF too.

Made a few vBucks on it myself.

I think LJ or Kori should post a list of everyone who bet on Spurs in 6 and had faith in our team, that way everyone knows who the real Believers are.

Then they can post the list of everybody who put money on Seattle so we can throw rotten tomatoes at them.

Speaking of which, LakerGod is officially LakerBum in the vBookie world now, isn't he?

Sonics in Six? Ha.

What a goon. :rolleyes
