"Hey, people are starting to figure out this stuff is bad for them. Maybe if we give it a different name they won't know what it is!" :rolleyes

Did you see those commercials a while back where they tried to say its not bad? GMAFB.

We only have so much of this shit because of corn subsidies. Time to cut them off because HFCS is in EVERYTHING now.

This. All the energy spent trying to regulate or restrict HFCS is just a waste. Eliminate the subsidy first and see how fast it dries up. My guess is that this becomes a much less severe problem without much work; and we save a shit ton of money at the same time.

I particularly liked the one where the guy was being a giant pussy because his girlfriend was eating a popsicle on a picnic. Talk about having your priorities in the wrong place.

Could be a great marketing campaign....let's see:

1) change the name to "DiabetiCorn"

2) make your logo a fat unicorn eating a rainbow.....

It's the "high" that probably causes the most trouble. No one likes to see that on a food label. Everyone wants "low" stuff - low fat, low cal, low sodium, etc. They need to accentuate the things that probably aren't in there. "Low horse semen fructose syrup" for instance. It gets the all important "low" in there and it shifts the conversation. All of a sudden instead of thinking about how this stuff isn't good for you now you're wondering how much horse semen there is in sugar.

HF corn sugar, best source of "low nutrition"

All industrial food is pure pathogenic garbage.

Garbage by any name would stink the same.

"Soon food will be bad for us"

industrial food already is, and it's getting worse.
