I'm actually going for the teabaggers now. The Democrats already blew the great chance they had to fix the nation and have proved themselves wholly inept; might as well just enjoy the show as the nation goes down in flames with another wingnut revolution.

A career politician got sent the fuck home. This is win-win. It's not like this country is actual getting fixed one way or the other.
Hopefully she knows by now why she is there.
Probably not. But that was a stupid thing for her to say. She basically exposed the fact that she only cares about stopping masturbation because she's afraid she'll end up not needed or even wanted.

Ayotte was just declared the winner in New Hampshire. She wasn't endorsed by the Tea Party, but she was endorsed by Sarah Palin. The margin of victory was about 1600 votes - both candidates are conservatives, so let's hope the Tea Party will now get behind Ayotte.

When I first heard about the Tea Party, it was all about speaking against the whole government then it seemed hijacked into strictly being against Obama - but this is very interesting now that they are popping caps in establish GOP candidates. Sadly, the "new" Tea Party, the Party of Sarah Palin, could very well usher in the age of Idiocracy - a kind of Western theocracy. I will simultaneously laugh and cry if any of these whackos falls in the line of Presidential succession.

The Tea Party stands for lower taxes, less government spending, and limited government - yeah, they're real fringe wackos - kinda like our founding fathers!

This is exactly what I wish would happen. I'd like to see the GOP completely destroyed so that the neo-cons with their fake evangelism plastered on their vapid faces can form their own party. I'm sure they'd enjoy the backing of their country club...I mean mega churches.
Then and only then, can classical conservatism reclaim the party or simply form their own and divorce themselves from the Christian right.

I'm not talking about the Tea Party, the Ron Paul and "dismantle the Dept of Education" folks...I mean the "new" Tea Party of Sarah Palin (aka angry white Republicans that feel the GOP isn't listening to them). They are FAR from the founding fathers and anyone that draws comparisons between them doesn't understand anything about the founders. ANYONE can say they want lower taxes, less government spending, and limited government - I haven't seen/heard shit from anyone other than the Paul's on how to do that. It's all a perverion, really.
the real irony here is that the tea party elects people that the republic set out to prevent from being elected to begin with.

Its not really about less government...thats a misconception IMHO...its about a shift from federal govt to state and local govt. Just think, what better to get citizens re-involved in govt than to have local representation on major issues? what better to make elected officials more accountable than to have the major decisions with major tax implications made by state/local residents?

Just out of curiousity, where were you when Obama was (and still is being) demonized for being part of an anti-poverty group w/ Bill Ayers. It was over a decade ago and everyone seemed to use it as evidence that Obama was a domestic terrorist sympathizer. Assuming you were aware of the allegations, did you defend Obama's participation in an anti-poverty group as ancient history like you defend O'Donnell's anti-masturbation group as ancient history?

You're equating a religious belief against masturbation with domestic terrorism? Tell me, how many people have, or will, die as a result of not masturbating? Now - tell me how many people have died as a result of domestic terrorism. Even you should be able to see the difference here.

So, you and Crooks don't believe a political candidate campaigning on "no abortions under any circumstances" is radical or dangerous to our country's freedoms? These bullshit "Conservatives," people like her, want "freedom" as dictated by their own selfish aims - not the Constitution. The Founders weren't idiots, they understood that the country would progress and evolve and left us a blueprint for what made it special, it isn't a Bible or Qu'ran or Torah to extract and exact whatever political aims are popular at the time - the supposed "Tea Party" candidates don't deserve to be discussed on the same level.
She's a career political candidate who just happened to be in the right place at the right time (on the 3rd or 4th time around the block), there's no getting around that.
