Wow, the Heat are going to set on-court history next June, but they're already setting pre-season history right now..the first team to do this?..classy..
Lebron spent an entire Summer dedicated to entertaining and aiding the children..now he's going to entertain and lift the spirits of the great Airmen of America..TBH, how can anybody not like him?..

Though Sefant had a legit point there, Har. Just soldier and help her. No need to tell a soul about it.

In spite of that, even after winning back-to-back, Kobe is still more hated than Lebron.

Look, Cul, I thought you had more vision than that. Sure it's nice when you do something and don't get credit. I'm sure that happens with these guys all the time.
But sometimes the world needs an example; they need to be inspired. Seeing people do great acts can inspire us all to be better. Sometimes people need to know.

I find it beyond gross that it was made public. A person's mortality is not be shared, or, talked about in Media. It's sacred.
***And you thinking of me in positive tones, DPG?

Again:
Im pretty sure the Heat were surprised about the amount of bashing/slamming/critics that James and Bosh received for their decisions and specially their offseason "acting" in the media.
And im pretty sure they hoped to receive way more "Wow what a ream team" feedback than all this trashing. They didnt expect to become THAT fast one of the most disliked sport franchises (outside their hometown).
So, they are sitting on a table planning the training camp. Do you really think they were sitting there asking themselfs "Where could we do good stuff for people?" either than "Where can we get the best and posivite PR"?
It just need an average trainee then to say "Uh lets play the soldier/patriotic card and do the camp there".
Just saying. Dont be blind, its not about giving back here. Its about posivite PR after all this failing during the summer regarding the decision, Bosh twitter and interview farts etc.

You guys realize that the military are probably fucking stoked to be able to work out/hang out with them? I'm assuming the Heat will be talking to the troops and whatnot. Win-win on both sides.

Eh, that's changing gradually. No more bike tests... pushups, situps and 1.5 mile run now. And if you fail, you're getting hurt bad, career-wise.
