GOP to unveil new ‘Contract with America’ Thursday

House Republicans are planning to unveil a roughly 20-point election-year policy agenda Thursday at a hardware store in suburban Virginia.

GOP officials said party leaders will go public with a plan focused on jobs, spending, health care, national security and reforming Congress. They'll brief lawmakers on it late Wednesday.

The first time it was 1994, and Bill Clinton was running shit and everyone had money and there was a lot of innovation and not a lot of angry white people. I'm glad they didn't follow through, shit was awesome. :downspin:

The Democrat's plan consists of just two things, as far as I can see:

1) Sarah Palin is going to become President! Vote for us!
2) Insist on watering down/abandoning all liberal policies that aren't "moderate" enough.

I can see why Rove is frustrated, the tea-baggers have already cost the GOP the Senate.....next they could cost them any chance of taking the house...

This board is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. I concur with coyotes_geek... they'll say whatever you want to hear, then do whatever they want to do.

8 year term MAX. PERIOD, the end. Only way to fix things. Career politicians lead to corruption and greed.

You were indeed correct.

Score one for WC.

The pledge they ended up revealing was a tired re-hash of everything they promised but didn't deliver on before.

icky.
