Any thoughts as to what Duncan will do when he stops playing?
Will he stay in SA?
Not sure if he'd be a great head coach but he would be outstanding as a mentor for up and coming big men.
I don't know if he'll want to put himself out there but I'd love to hear him call games or do some work on TV. He'd be great with the TNT studio crew.

I hope he does something about that low hairline in front.

Timmy's probably just going to fade from public consciousness (except in San Antonio). I'd LOVE to see him do some TV work with, say, TNT, but I just don't think he's leaning that way.

I think you're probably right. In 20 years, he'll be one of those players that only those that watched him play will know how great he really was.

He will star in a reality show!

Tim gives me the impression he will retire from the public eye and live peacefully.

i can see him buying part of the team and maybe spending some time in the gym with the big's we acquire after him. he's too much of a basketball nut to just walk away from the organized game completely.

I could see him working with Spurs big men from time to time, a la Abdul-Jabbar with Bynum a few years back. Not an official big man coach who travels with the team.

As far as I can remember, he mentioned in an interview that it's possible that he would coach. Timmy in the sidelines would be amazing! At what age do you guys think TD will retire?

I think you are right here, even kids nowadays don't know how good he was in his prime! They know of him and how great he is or was, but they did not witness it live on TV in his major prime!

Tim gives me the impression he will retire from the public eye and live peacefully.Like Barry Sanders! Who has made no noise at all since he retired and nobody knows if he is alive :lol:lol I am serious have you seen or heard about dude since he retired? He was always like Timmay to me, quiet and reserved, loved the game but when it's gone he is just going to enjoy life and just be gone! POOF.

It will probably go something like that. I'd imagine Tim will spend a lot of time teaching his kids about video games, paintball, and maybe some basketball.
