SAN ANTONIO – Suit Up San Antonio, the Spurs are inviting all fans to come to the AT&T Center for a free open practice and scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Sunday is also the day that single game tickets for the first half of the season will go on sale starting at Noon at all outlets, including the AT&T Center Box Office.
Face painters and balloon artists will start the fun when doors open at 1:00 p.m. with free general admission and first-come-first-serve seating for all fans. The Coyote and The Silver Dancers will add to the entertainment, and $1 hot dogs and $1 drinks will be available for purchase while supplies last.

Open practice will begin at 1:30 p.m. with drills and warm-ups followed by a full-court team scrimmage. Prizes and giveaways will be distributed throughout the game, including an opportunity for 15 lucky fans to win a Spurs worn practice jersey off the back of a player following the scrimmage.

Fans can also take advantage of an exclusive Spurs ticket offer to receive one (1) complimentary ticket to a pre-season game (excluding Miami) for each Opening Night ticket purchased at open practice.

Spurs single game tickets range in price from $10 to $175, including lower bowl seats. Single game tickets will go on sale Sunday, Oct. 3 at Noon and can be purchased at all TicketMaster Ticket Center locations, charge by phone at (210) 225-TEAM, or online at ticketmaster.com or spurs.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at 10 a.m. For information on season and group tickets visit spurs.com or call 444-5050.

Definitely in the morning for courtside, I would say 7-8am. I don't remember if they signed autographs afterwards or not...I did not get any.

I got there about 9 last year I believe and there was only a few people in line and I got 3rd row seats but my friend had to run and the security was telling people to walk but they still ran :lol i recommend this year try to get in the middle line I will probably get there about 9 or maybe even earlier this year I want to get on the court this year but yah you have to wait until the doors open at 1 so if you can stand that long i recommend it

from what I remember last year they weren't but were giving high fives to fans of course

they would all come one by one on the court from what I remember there was no one on the court practicing when they let everyone in, and after practice they would throw there towels or some crap in the fans, but I don't think they signed anything unless it was after practice but I believe the whole team went into the tunnel but maybe it can be different this year never hurts to try.

i agree with this statement.

i think we see RJ perfrom to last year's expectations this year. over the summer he's been working to adjust his game to his teammates, and it'll pay off. i expect a better 3-point % and defense from him. Splitter will help the Spurs get back to clogging lanes and blocking shots.

there are a alot of people who flat out do not know what they are talking about when it comes to the Spurs. they see how we got swept last year, but can't actually give a legit. reason as to why. they attribute it to being old, but that's just a cop out. truth of the matter is it was a combo of injuries, missing pieces in our offense and defense, and new faces.

the only worry i really have going into next year is who's going to step up and guard the other team's best perimiter player? i'm hoping Hill, RJ, Anderson, Neal can become that player.

Well the real additions and subtractions to the team were shooters. Typically if shooters are just asked to shoot on offense and not make plays (*cough* Mason *cough*) they are a lot more effective than say, adding a scorer like Richard Jefferson. The expectations have gone down because this team played "poorly" last season, but I think the team should be a lot better. Pop is fucking tired of losing in the playoffs.

It is. It was actually better than decent the first couple of years he was in the league.

He's extended the range as the years have gone on and the injuries have hit, but he's got a pretty damn good midrange game when he's right.

Simmons is basically a shooting finisher at this point. Couple dribbles off the 3-point line and a midrange pull-up, maybe a post move or two, but mostly a catch-and-shoot-type, which could actually turn out quite well on this team and in this offense.

That's if he pans out, of course.

I've always gotten it on Dish in the past (on an alternate channel). There's actually a few teams that have broadcasts you can usually catch on FSN and Dish, but I haven't checked to see yet.
