what is the deal with all these scattered showers in the past couple weeks.

just now it rained for like 5 minutes and all of a sudden it's bright as fuck outside. what's the deal?

sa weather sucks! either it's too hot, never cold enough, or it's scattered rain.

It was crazy at my daughter's softball practice last night. It wasn't raining at the school at all, but was torrential about 3 miles away.

We got a cool rainbow out of it, though ... there's actually 2, but one wasn't very bright.

am i in the small minority that hates this season changing shit? i mean i like the cooler weather don't get me wrong, but the dark cold days, getting dark so damn early kinda gives me seasonal depression..

yeah man, no doubt!

give me sun 24/7 and never any rain or cold weather, though i really don't know what cold weather is.

you ever seen snow? i haven't.

I never complain about rain. My yard looks the best it has ever looked at the end of the summer and with no big water bill!

Yep, can't complain about the rain here. Especially after such a dry dead summer before last.

Rain rules! Saves on electric bill for the AC and water bill for the yard. Keep it coming!

Rain still kind of sucks at this time in the year. It rains just enough to make it super humid.

I can't wait till it is cold and rainy.

The ridiculous humidity typically makes your a/c work harder removing the moisture in the air of your home. I just got my CPS bill yesterday and it was the highest it's ever been. :(

Another rainbow at practice last night ... this one seemed really close. :)

I hear ya, but without the rain, the AC would have to work even harder to remove the heat AND humidity. This way, its just humid and very mild heat that it has to remove. I just got my last bill and it was less than I have had (in this house) for this month. I just got windows installed too, so I will get even better results THIS month.

weathers in england are far more capricious tbh you have to always bring an umbrella with you because the rain cloud may come over your head any time. now it seems american cities have caught up with british cities in the race of air pollution, air pollution is to be blamed for all these weird climate changes.

if you had some mercy on the AC would you bother to drive less and walk more? it doesn't cost much more time to walk to a supermarket 2 blocks away than driving there, maybe sometimes walking even saves your time when theres little room remaining in the parking lot.
