No one talks about the Cavs. With LeBron and Delonte gone, so is the drama, except for what's perceived. With a new coach in Byron Scott, and a huge chip on the team's shoulders, the remaining Cavs from LeBron's team may surprise us and make the playoffs. Or they might not. It should be an interesting side note as the regular season progresses.

Also, no one talks about this possiblity: Carmelo Anthony to the Cavs for the trade exception Cleveland received from Miami. Of course, logically, Cleveland is the last place in the world Melo may want to play, but if you think about it a moment, it could be a public relations windfall for him. If he goes there and the Cavs do some damage, he becomes a hero in the eyes of the world.

Any thoughts about the Cavs next season with or without Melo? Forum needs some new blood, run with it.

Cavs will rebuild and start salary dumping real soon. I also don't see the Cavs making a pitch for Melo knowing he will not resign. Melo is not the type of person to want to save that franchise nor will his wife agree with him going to Cleveland. At this point rebuilding is their best option.

The trade exception is for $14.5M, Melo's salary is $17.1M. Won't work.

He wont sign an extension with the Cavs. What he wants there?
