I have to admit ...I'm a complete homer in my fantasy basketball leagues
I have at least 3 spurs on each of my teams.
Since I've gravitated towards dynasty leagues, I just can't bear to not have the Spur's draft choices.
what are your opinions on the younger Spurs players in terms of future careers in the NBA?
there has been a fair bit written about Blair and Splitter lately but I'm not too sure about guys like Anderson, Neal, and even George Hill (any more upside to his game?)

Hill's certainly still got some upside. He's supposedly been working hard on his jumper this offseason, especially the corner 3, and if anything his role with the team is only going to expand this year.

Now here's an interesting question.....
would you rather have Tiago over the current rookie crop (other than Wall) ?
I think I like him better than the big men in the draft like Cousins or Monroe
not sure about turner, johnson, etc...

I too tend to try and draft Spurs out of homerism, but I have to curb this instinct in myself because Spurs tend to be poor fantasy performers. Why? Because they are typically more focused on defense, and Pop is very strict about limiting most of their minutes. Both of which will bring down players' stats.
Parker is probably the best fantasy performer but he is often high in TOs. Duncan is obviously a solid PF option but never as glitzy a fantasy performer as some of the other options. Hill turned out to be a good fantasy performer for me, I picked him up off waivers. I suspect Splitter will be pretty good.
Manu is awesome fantasy fodder when he plays but his minutes are so inconsistent so it can be frustrating.

lol know what ya mean....
in my favourite league I have Manu, Blair and TD
I draft #6 in the rookie/undrafted rounds and I'll be targetting Splitter
I just can't help myself!!!

This year TP has a good value IMO. He has dropped a lot on people's radar after his so so season last year. I think you can have him for cheap and he is going to have a big season and bring a good amount of assists with a FG around 50%, normally he is not an issue for TOs he is one of the guard taking care of the ball. He will be a solid fantasy player.
