I know a lot of you don't watch it or care, but if you're one of those you missed a couple awesome football games the last couple days.

Friday night, Jeff Garcia and Ahman Green led the Omaha Nighthawks to a last second come from behind victory against Josh McCown and the Hartford Colonials. Garcia hit Robert Ferguson with a 12 yard touchdown with 6 seconds left to claim a 24-23 victory in front of over 23k fans at Rosenblatt stadium.

Late last night, Daunte Culpepper showed he's still got it leading the Sacramento Mountain Lions to an intense come from behind victory, handing the Florida Tuskers their first ever regular season defeat. Culpepper threw for almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns while deftly escaping heavy pressure most of the night. Tuskers QB and reigning UFL MVP Brooks Bollinger had his 6th 300 yard passing game out of 8 regular season games (including last year).

You can also find the games within their Boxee app, if you use that (just search for United Football League).

Just to point out, you don't really have to spend the time bashing the UFL, especially when I'm sure you've never watched a game.

I posted this here for anyone who might be interested in more professional football. It's pretty damn good football, overall. It was good last year, and so far (minus the first half of the game for Sac in their week 1 loss to the Colonials) it's been even better this year.

No one's going to argue the caliber of play or players is anywhere near the NFL standard. In fact, the league very publically has talked about their average player being about the same as a bottom 20 guy in the NFL.

It's still a better quality than the vast majority of FBS teams (the top 10 might come close). It just doesn't have the emotional connection to the public en masse as FBS does.
