Yes. Apparently Don Harris had a pretty lengthy interview with Tim for the first time in 13 years on media day.

Both interviews should be aired tonight on Sports Sunday following the game and Instant Replay at 10:30 CST.

Saw it, good interview and hopefully he re-signs after this year...

Hopefully the full interview on ksat.com has some more juicy info once it's up.

Don Harris' interview with Tim was better, in my opinion. It was more personal...showing a photo of Tim, Amy and his two children and Don getting Tim's perspective on fatherhood. He also talked about Tim's favorite Spurs moment, his shot versus the Lakers in the .4 game and the Dallas loss in 2006.

I'm hoping they put it out.

Didn't get to see it, but ANYTIME one of the local Sport Casters states, "we go one on one with so and so", beware. Most of the time, it some bullshit locker room media event with dozens of reporters and these douchebags just select the few seconds their lame ass question was answered. Then they air it and call it a "One on One" interview.

Duncan is very at peace with himself. I think he's going to go as long as he possibly can and enjoy every last minute before it's all over.

The Instant Replay interview is a one-on-one sit down. Greg Simmons asks the basic questions. It's 6:30 long.

What was TD favorite moment?

Winning the 1999 title.

And he said between the .4 loss and the Dallas loss, that it's close but he views the Dallas one as the fifth championship that got away.

Even Pat Riley said that we would have repeated if not for Manu's foul.

But Don Harris is sooo cool and a real insider and buddy buddy with the stars. Just ask him.

Actually thought they would have won both -- admitting bias -- but that '06 was the more obvious one to him.

It was both refreshing and depressing hearing how honest he was about the missed opportunities and the state of his health. ... And he even backed up Tony's belief that this is probably the last shot at a title with the Big 3, or at least that they'd all be approaching it as such -- seeing as it's very possible Tony could move on, which he'd have no problem with if he did; he just wants Tony to do what's right by his family and for his career moving forward.

The reality and urgency of this season is really starting to set in. Hope they can finish this thing off the way we all hope. :lobt:

Thought it was interesting that Tim said he GAINED weight from last season and that he played "too light" last year. Weren't there reports in here that he lost even MORE weight than last year? Tim contradicts that belief last night in the Instant Replay interview.

People mis-read the article that came out when Pop was interviewed the week before media day. Pop said he thought Duncan looked 'slimmer', but it was never said that he actually lost weight.

Gregg Popovich said Thursday that Duncan returned this summer for his 14th season perhaps in even better shape than a year ago, when the perennial All-Star reported to training camp 15 pounds lighter.

“He’s trim and slim. I think he’s even slimmer than he was last year,” Popovich said.

...Popovich didn’t say how much lighter Duncan might have come back.

I think so too. Both interviews were pretty short, not a lot you can get through considering Duncan's incredible career. I think Harris asked better questions.
