The phillies right now are just ridiculous. Their pitching and the depth of their hitting is just astronomical. The Yankee's pitching is not as good as it was last year. The Rays are a hitter or two short. The Giants again the hitting MIGHT bite them in the ass, but against the Phillies they are just not as good. Twins are gonna be beasts, their pitching along with ability to adapt to any game played with small ball or long ball, The Rangers while a great story and have played solid ball all year, I'm afraid the pitching is gonna come up short, and the hitting is just a tad too hot and cold. If hamilton gets on a huge roll ala June though, it MIGHT be enough to get this team to the WS, the AL is THAT wide open and the National League is one great team and 3 other decent teams.

I hope the Rangers beat the Rays. I despise those guys about as much as the Yanks. I like Texas and would like to see them go deep in the playoffs for once.


The NL....Phillies will take care of the Reds in 3.

Giants over Braves then lose to the Phillies in the NLCS.

At the end of the day the Phillies are winning it all. It doesn't matter who wins the AL. They have Great pitching, solid O, and a core of proven winners.

The difference between the Yanks Twins series of years past, is the Yankee's pitching is game 1 then after that its a crap shoot. that plus the Twins have homefield advantage. I think the yankees depending on Burnett and creaky Pettite will kill em.
