San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker(notes) has been with the team since he was drafted in the first round back in 2001 and has helped the team win three NBA championships along the way. Now he's in the final year of his contract and it isn't clear where he'll end up next year after the Spurs shell out $13.5 million for his services this season.

Teammate and fellow guard Manu Ginobili(notes) tells AOL FanHouse that he knows that the 28-year-old Parker wants a long-term deal. "I bet he wants to stay and win championships and do good, but it's his life, his career," Ginobili told the site. "He wants to be compensated. He wants a long-term deal. I know that, and I don't know what the Spurs are thinking about that."

Meanwhile, GM R.C. Buford told the site that he couldn't discuss what Parker had told him privately about wanting to stay in San Antonio or leave and try to win a fourth championship somewhere else. "There's no reason why we wouldn't want Tony to be a part of our organization."
