During "Take Your Pick" on NBA shootaround, Greg Anthony said that Detroit might have the best frontcourt of all time!!! (IF I heard that right) He said they were the best because of their athleticism and intelligence. If he is talking about right now, maybe, but if he is talking about ALL TIME, he is smokin something!!! :smokin

I may be biased, but Tim and David has to be the best frontcourt IMO.

i agree, if only the admiral was still in his prime when he got Duncan.

I think McHale, Parrish and Bird might have something to say about that. I'd certainly take Tim David and Sean over Rasheed Ben and Tayshaun.

There were several strong frontcourts in the 80s.

The frontcourt of Jabbar, Worthy, and Wilkes (McAdoo and Rambis) in the early-mid 80s along with Parrish, McHale, Bird (Cornbread Maxwell) were two of the finest to ever play.

Darrell Dawkins, Bobby Jones, Julius Erving (Caldwell Jones) was good.

When Cleveland came to town with the frontcourt of Daugherty, John Williams, & Larry Nance (Mark West and Ty Corbin off the bench), the middle was sealed off pretty well.
Unseld, Hayes, and Dandridge in the 70s was very good (ask the Spurs).

The frontcourt of Willis Reed, Dave DeBusschere and Bill Bradley (Cazzie Russell) in the 60s was pretty good.

Personal Favorites
Robinson, Duncan, Elliott (Perdue, Rose, and Kersey)

Bill Russell, Satch Sanders, and Bailey Howell (Don Nelson & John Havlicek who played F also).

True. Good call (with Iavaroni off the bench). It won them a Championship.
