Deadspin (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Deadspin.com) says it will give the boo birds at New Meadowlands Stadium (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/New+Meadowlands+Stadium) an early Halloween (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Halloween) treat Thursday, when the irreverent website posts X-rated crotch shots it says legendaryNFL (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/National+Football+League) quarterback Brett Favre (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Brett+Favre) sent to a sexy TV sports personality.
Favre and the Minnesota Vikings (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Minnesota+Vikings) play the Jets at New Meadowlands on Monday night. In an item posted Wednesday night, editor-in-chiefA.J. Daulerio (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/A.J.+Daulerio) said the website will post three below-the-waist photos and two voicemails it claims Favre sent to TV host Jenn Sterger (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Jenn+Sterger) in 2008, when Favre was the Jets (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/New+York+Jets)' quarterback and Sterger was a Gang Green sideline reporter.
Daulerio also reports that Favre may have had a wingman - the website says it might have been a Jets media relations manager who made the first contact with Sterger, now a reporter for Versus' "The Daily Line."
Sunshine Public Relations, the Manhattan (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Manhattan) firm that works closely with the Jets, told Deadspin that the manager said he never interacted with Sterger. The Jets issued a statement through Sunshine saying "this is the first they've heard of this situation."
Deadspin also posted an excerpt from a MySpace (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/MySpace+Inc.) account message sent to Sterger from someone who calls himself "Screaming Lord Byron (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Lord+Byron)."
"I saw you in the tunnel at the game last week got your name from front-office person I'm new to team with gray hair all the info I can give."The site first reported in August that Favre had sent X-rated photos to Sterger, who told Daulerio she was not interested in an affair with the married Favre.
"I just want to make it clear that I never met him, saw him, etc., because I don't roll that way," Sterger wrote in a Feb. 15 email to Daulerio. "That meaning old ... or married. Some big-boobed hoes have morals and souls, believe it or not. ..."
Daulerio said Sterger also told him that she had saved the photos and voicemails to laugh at with friends, but she refused to go public with Favre's off-field passes.
It was not clear in August if Sterger had given Deadspin her consent to go with what had been off-the-record conversations with Daulerio.
