been using AVG for a while anyone else get the new update, how does it run on your computer

I installed it on a customer computer
she then could not get her webmail with netzero
I disabled the avg add ons
did not work on ie installed firefox did not work either
I like avg though
I then put avast on her system it works now.

I stopped using it on 09 when it became a memory and disk hog. I don't know what their newer version looks like. Back then, I moved to MSE, but that one is also turning into a frankestein.

avast is the least amount of memory hog
a newer computer can handle avg
I heard avg was bought out by norton before version 9 came out.
it would not surprise me because it has been more of a resource hog
