I was pretty bored the last couple of days, so I looked around for a video editor to see if I could figure one out. I messed around with it yesterday, and came up with something for MMA fighter Wanderlei Silva, but only messed around on it for an hour or so. Last night and during the day I worked on a Tim Duncan tribute video, and I'm pretty happy with the results. Here it is, hope you like:

Tim Duncan Tribute - How It Ends (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYeRtPYvZ2M)

btw, I used a program called PowerDirector, pretty simple to figure out.

Word, I didn't know if it was threadworthy enough for the main forum. I figured it fell under "graphics" somewhat.

:lol

W/ the daily amount of unreadable shite that spews forth from that forum on a daily basis, this'll be a breath of fresh air.

Nice work, Drew.

Beautiful, but sad. Reminds me that we don't have him forever.

I'm not sure if this is alcohol-fueled or not, but that was awesome . . .

Maybe I'm just a sick individual, but that felt like watching one of those "this is your life" films. It's not just Timmy ... it's like reliving past memories and where you were during those times. It's almost like seeing something about a family member.

Great job, Drewlius. :tu

Nice job homie. Honestly this makes me think of the Timmy era fans and wondering how they will take it when the younger generation Spurs fans come in and don't pay any homage to how good Timmy was on the court because they only caught the bud end of his career. Unfortunately people only tend to see what they see at the moment and either forget or don't know where it all started. A lot of people forgot how good David Robinson, but hopefully we will have more things to remind us how good Timmy was. It tends to happen when players have long careers or as Timmy puts it play "til the wheels fall off". What we are seeing now is just a shell of how good Timmy really was. Not saying he's washed up but you guys know what i'm gettin' at.

That was really just excellent. Nice sequencing. I mostly appreciate the avoidance of bad hip hop or buttrock. Nice work, dude. One of the best I've seen.

Great job on the video, especially the stills integrated in the walk down memory lane. I liked the song and really enjoyed seeing Timmy being great on and off the court. As Spurs fans, we have been truly spoiled to get both David and Tim as examples of great people and franchise players.

Thank you for sharing. Great clip selection, very artistic and very well-done. I didn't understand the music choice though. Seeing Tim in his prime play pumped me up, but then there was a slow ballad playing?

Thanks for all of the positive comments fellas. To answer your question, I honestly thought it was a good change of pace from what I usually see from these types of videos out there. Also, for some reason, when I thought about doing this video, this was the first song that popped into my head.

Good job. I've been watching and editing basketball videos for a long time and I have more appreciation for old school style mixes like these. These days editors are cutting up highlights to the point where it's over-edited and the viewer is focusing more on the editing rather than the player's skill.

This is far more relevant now than it was 6 years ago. Amazing how many new memories were created since this point. Bump for the feels.
