But, like the vast lion's share of players he denigrates his legacy every time he takes the floor.

The really amazing part is that Kidd was able to carry KVH to the Finals.

The 2001-02 Eastern Conference was the worst in the history of the sport. The Nets have nothing on Nash's Suns when it comes to running. Phoenix has had more of a long-term affect on the sport and Dallas had them in their era. This was a 45-win squad that got a tremenously weak Conference to make the NBA Finals.

My favorite team: 2001-02 Nets play follow the leader (http://www.nba.com/2010/news/features/john_schuhmann/10/17/favorite.team.nets/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt1)

I got to the Golden State comment and switched it off. That's what happened if you look at the record only. The reigning 2-time Champions are still together in the Conference. If Golden State managed to get past them, that would be an accomplishment.

The 2001 Sixers were a .500 team with Dikembe Mutombo--even in 2001. The 2000 Indiana Pacers has imploded the team because they were too old. The 1999 Knicks were too old and injured to stay relevant. Milwaukee couldn't win because they had chemistry issues and they missed the postseason.

In 2001-02, there was no leader in the Eastern Conference. Toronto was expected to contend, but injuries hit the team and they barely made the postseason. Orlando would've been there but Grant Hill was injured. The draft was full of projects so there was no chance a team like the Chicago Bulls would be able to take tremendous talent and turn it into a playoff run. Players like Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Horace Grant, Charles Oakley couldn't contribute anymore. They were driftwood brought in to be role players and it was horrible and tough to watch.

Detroit, Boston, and New Jersey won in the Conference after not making the postseason the year before and they did it playing without a dead-eye shooter, a superstar, chemistry, or a dominant big man. They won because they had talent and young legs. That's it. Very bad year.

The ENTIRE CONFERENCE IMPLODED AND NEW JERSEY WAS LEFT STANDING!

Nash's Suns were great, but both the Nets and suns were in better era's of basketball then what we are watching right now.

Best game I ever saw live had to be Nets vs Suns in December 2006

The comeback agains the Hawks was almost more impressive.

19/16/17 at the age of almost 37 and he totally dominated the 4th quarter, the opponents coach etc. He had almost a TD in the 4th quarter (11/8/7).

Just epic.

didn't see that live or on tv, so doesn't seem impressive to me, but from the stats you type that would be impressive
