3 more penalties in the last few minutes - Dallas just sucks. Wade Phillips needs to fine every single player who gets a penalty - and they need to run sprints. Maybe some discipline will make a difference to these yahoos.

Cowboys defense is looking nice. They have actually had a decent year all around. At least good enough to win more than they have. The run defense is solid, but again, the pass defense is up and down.

COWBOYS SUCK!!! Wade Phillips should be fired right now. This team has a lot of talent, but will never be more than mediocre with Wade as coach. And yeah, allowing a 95-yard kickoff return really summed up this game. A 73-yard run last week lost that game and then the 95 yarder today. This season is OVER.

Romo could be a top 3 QB if he is coached and used properly. He does choke often, however, he has the tools.

BTW, is there anyone that has been over hyped more than Dez Bryant? I recall the announcers saying, "They don't want to give Dez Bryant a chance to return that punt." and then he proceeds to be extremely retarded and waste 15 seconds and lose 16 yards by not letting the ball go in the end zone. He has the potential to be Kevin Dyson. Nothing more.

Regardless he has to be smart enough to put his team in the best position possible. 35 seconds left at the 20 to get in field goal range is a much smarter option than 15 seconds and the ball at the 6.

You're right about it being caught at the five.

It's also not smart football to let the punt hit the ground with the clock running because the clock was running. What if the punt does not go in the end zone (as it did earlier in the game)? At least Bryant has the ability to run one back (like he did earlier in the game or the season).

That's true. Dez is not even close to Kevin Dyson. Kevin Dyson had a long, somewhat successful NFL career. Dez has yet to do anything to help his team win games. At this point Dez is more like Freddie Mitchell.

You have no idea what Dez Bryant will do in the future - you really don't. He already has two long touchdowns this year and two to three other long plays called back by penalty - Freddie Mitchell was a non-factor his entire career and that comparison was only an attempt to be glib (sorry - you failed there). Maybe you were an Oilers fan so you come up with a guy like Dyson - an average Oilers/Titans player to compare Bryant to.

Bryant essentially had no training camp as a rookie player and is still getting into the mix. With good health over a period of years, Bryant will do very well. Your hatred of the Cowboys probably clouds your judgement. Andre Johnson has been dealing with the same injury Bryant is dealing with right now (high ankle sprain) - his effectiveness was reduced for several weeks.

You spend a lot of time in Cowboys and Spurs threads and are always pumping up those Houston teams that really aren't that great and throwing insults at the Spurs and Cowboys.

Just remember, at the end of the day, the only reason any Houston team (besides the early 60s AFL Oilers team) won a title was because Michael Jordan was told to "go away" for awhile by Stern because of his gambling issues. At least my teams actually have experienced ultimate success at some point along the way.

A currently rudderless Cowboys team kicked the Texan's butt a few weeks ago and here you are popping off about a team you don't even like. How good are the Texans right now when it can beat a Dallas team (at home) that can't get out of its own way? That Texans team has a lot of issues (bad defense, nagging injuries to its best player Johnson, season ending injury to Ryans - historically its best defensive player) that will probably prevent it from winning anything significant this year. At least acknowledge that reality.

Regardless he has to be smart enough to put his team in the best position possible. 35 seconds left at the 20 to get in field goal range is a much smarter option than 15 seconds and the ball at the 6.

Just wanted to point something out to you, since you apparently like to correct me. There were 29 seconds on the clock when the Vikings punted. YOU DO realize that the clock runs when the ball gets punted, don't you?
It is impossible to have 35 seconds on the clock with the ball at the 20 in that situation.

Letting the ball hit the ground could have resulted in the ball going out of the end zone, sure. However, there was no guarantee that the ball goes into the end zone. A funny bounce of the ball could have put the ball inside the five with Minnesota players around the ball watching the clock tick down. Bryant has demonstrated the ability to break long kick returns this year and a number of times in college. He tried to just make a play in a bad situation and it did not work out.

You must be new here because I am not a fan of the Rockets. I've been a Spurs fan my entire life.

I agree. Fuck the Rockets.

4-2 is better than 1-4. I don't care if they did lose to the Cowboys. That is one of only two games they have lost. Out of 6 games, they have lost 2. Just pointing that out because you seem to think that a loss to the Cowboys makes the Texans a worse team when in reality they are FOUR AND TWO while the Cowboys are ONE AND FOUR.
