View Full Version : State Fair games ownage
So we went to the state fair yesterday. I have $40 worth of tickets and tried the basketball game (1 shot/$5 wins you a jersey).
In just 5 tries, I sank 3 balls winning me 2 black cardinals jerseys and a white Manu Ginobili jersey. The carnies refused to accept the rest of my tickets again and banned me from playing in their stall for the day. LOOOOL
Last year, I won a Matt Leinart Cardinals jersey and a big ball stuffed toy from the same stall.

generic jerseys? dont they give those things away?
I got the authentic jersey last year. They only give out premium jerseys this year.
They are the stitched on types and the replicas are silkscreens.
Around 20 people stopped and watched then booed when the carnies didnt let me play anymore. :lol

How far was the shot? Free throw?
free throw shot. Basketball rim was non regulation. It was a foot higher, oval in shape, just an inch or two bigger than the ball, ball was over-inflated and the backboard and rim was hard so the balls bounce off of them.

So a regular carnival game?
A regular carnival game.
Well, while going around the fairgrounds. I saw 3 types of basketball games.
There's the regulation rim 8 shots in 16 seconds (jersey prize). There's a basketball 1 shot game non regulation rim that is nearer and lower but only has stuff toy prizes and there's the FT length and a foot higher 1 shot game non regulation rim with jersey prizes.

Must of been the B team. No A team carnies allow a rim big enough to fit a pet rock.
