So let's say for a minute that you lay a lot of the blame on the Cowboys poor performance on the coaching staff, who is out there as a replacement?

Again, hypothetically.

Bill Cowher is probably the biggest name that's out there. Some believe he's waiting for the Giants job though.

The question is, who in their right mind would take the job?

Jerry Jones just needs to come out and say he wants to coach, scan tickets at the doors, park cars, hand out beers, and everything else that's on his massive ego mind.

Norv Turner will probably be available at season's end.

Manu, but the Cowboys are not about winning.

Actually let me correct that

When Manu plays well = winner
When Manu plays like shit = injured (no way that much of a winner can ever play poorly when healthy :cry)

:lol If only that were true.
Losers Inc. owners just reupped Norv and AJ Smith for like 3 more years after this.
Who knows, maybe Norval could be reasonable and accept a buyout.
A lot of us would like to see Smith gonzo also. The guy who hired Norv.

Exactly.

Wade is just a spineless bitch who's just a puppet to what Jerry Jones wants. No coach with any dignity would take such a job with no control whatsoever.

As long as Jerry Jones doesn't let go off some of the reigns, this team will always be mediocre.

Cowboys should try to get Jon Gruden. He would make them discipline, implement a West Coast System which I think would be perfect for their passing offense, and a nastiness to their defense.

Agree 100%, Jon Gruden would be the best available coach for this system and it would be great if he replaces Wade.

The Cowboys will hire either Gruden or Cowher, and the hiring may come within an hour of the end of the 4th quarter of Game 16.

I can see them going after Gruden. Wade is a pretty good D coordinator, but he can't handle being a head coach. I would LOVE Cowher, but he won't go to a team where he won't have control

There are any number of football coaches out there that will take responsibility for the team and will make sure they don't roll up into a ball when the quarterback gets hurt. I'm sure there are literally thousands of head coaches out there that would never say "we're 1-4 but we're better than other 1-4 teams". I'd say basically anyone not named Dave Campo would be an improvement.

IMO, Cowher will take the Carolina job. I would love for it to be Gruden but again, will JJ let Jon call the shots? I am not holding my breath.

I hope you're right, to be honest, I'd rather have Gruden at this point.
