Indianapolis Colts (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ind/indianapolis-colts) Pro Bowl tight end Dallas Clark (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4482) has a hand/wrist injury that will sideline him indefinitely, team president Bill Polian said Thursday.
Polian said Clark was expected to meet with doctors on Thursday for a second opinion and to determine a timetable for his recovery, according to WISH-TV in Indianapolis.
The length of Clark's absence is uncertain, as is the exact nature of his injury.

"He's being evaluated," Colts coach Jim Caldwell said Wednesday when asked about Clark's injury.

The Colts believe they'll have the definitive word on Clark's injury and absence by Thursday, regardless of what the third opinion says, ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen reported. Surgery is being discussed.

Earlier Wednesday, the Colts re-signed tight end Gijon Robinson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10965), who was waived earlier this year.

Add Joseph Addai to that as well...

The bye week came just at the right time for a couple of ailing Colts stars, but the problem is that Joseph Addai and Dallas Clark may need longer than just two weeks to heal.

Addai has injured both of his shoulders in the last two games and it appears that he may have suffered nerve damage (http://blogs.indystar.com/philb/2010/10/20/heres-the-latest-on-colts-rb-joseph-addai/) in the left. Addai even admitted that he may not regain strength in that shoulder for four or five weeks.

Thanks for the link. I went to go see if Donald Brown was a FA in my fantasy league, he was. I pick him up and 5 minutes later get a text from someone in my league, "Dude I have Addai you're a fuckin faggot for picking up Donald Brown."

Maybe I should rename this thread Colts injury news...

Colts wide receiver Austin Collie underwent hand surgery this week that is expected to sideline him a few weeks.

My league only allows 4 roster moves per week and I made all of mine already, but I'm definitely eying Mike Hart and/or Anthony Gonzalez for next week. Brown is injury prone and is probably going to leave the game against Houston with some kind of injury.

Oh well, somehow Deion Branch landed on my team thanks to people ahead of me wasting their waivers on a D/ST and a kicker so that takes some of the sting out of losing Collie for a little bit.

Mike Hart blows cock, so even if both Addai and Brown were injured IMO there isn't enough upside to use him. The only way the Indy running game is giving any production without Addai is if Brown is healthy.

I wouldn't get all giddy about getting Brown either.

Brown will def split with Hart after the way Hart played the other day.

Sucks for Collie, but it's good for Pierre owners like myself.

I never understood why people do that, there's no way to predict what kicker does what any given week so there's no point in wasting a waiver claim on one.

My new strategy this year is to just start a kicker and a QB on the same team every week, that way they can ham egg it a lot and pick up for each other's shitty performances. Peyton only getting me 6 points against KC because he sucked in the red zone was largely negated by having Vinateri and getting 3 points every time Peyton fucked up in the redzone.

Well, those guys had their kicker and D/ST on bye this week. I can see wanting to have the best possible D/ST and using your waiver but my kicker is on bye this week too and was able to pick up David Akers with a favorable matchup against the Titans and didn't need to blow my waiver on it.

Indy injuries piling up in ugly fashion. Colts DT Antonio Johnson underwent knee surgery and team gave no timetable for his return.

Mookie Johnson has been getting blocked out of every play this year. That's actually not a bad injury.

on that fateful day when the voters cast it in, Peyton will raise his hands in glory and hold out all 5 fingers in representation.

yep tbh just like 08 season all over again peyton mannings gonna have to get this team to the playoffs by himself. if he wins the division i don't see how he doesn't get a 5th mvp.

Dallas Clark’s season is over. The Indianapolis Colts’ Pro Bowl tight end will undergo wrist surgery next week and be placed on injured reserve.

Colts don't even have to win their division now. If they secure a wild card with this shitty roster, Peyton's got his 5th MVP in the bag.
