I just got into Mad Men, and while the show is pretty good, I think the opening credits to the show is badass. Probably the best intro to a TV show that I can think of.

most tv shows that I watch on dvd, I can't hit the skip button fast enough to get past the credits. On Mad Men I watch it every time.

Any other good ones?

The Mad Men intro is bad ass. The music and the silhouettes are what do it for me. Can't say I watch it every time though.

I also really like Dexter's opening.

I love the Dexter opening too...but I especially love the s4 faux open after Rita has the baby, and nothing goes right to start his day.

Yeah, Animaniacs for the win, though, those fuckers were sneaky because they taught me shit. I absolutely used their damned "former soviet republics" song on a geography exam in high school

I always thought that was the WORST part of the show. Shitty song, boring intro. Jersey's an UGLY ass city, and we get a minute and a half long montage of it.

I hate most HBO intro's, cause they are almost all well over a minute long. The Wire was over 2 minutes long.

I thought almost every sopranos fan liked the intro :)

I like it, the song too. Great part of the show. After watching this show for so many years and this intro for so many times, it just became a symbol. I loved seeing the intro over and over again.
