This is pretty sick. I was a huge comic book geek in HS and I love the partnership of ESPN and Marvel comics.

Not sure I agree Lebron is Captain America though, I think this should've been Kevin Durant considering his image is so clean and he has that all American thing going on for him right now but I could see why they had Durant as Thor, the whole OKC Thunder thing is there I guess, but I think Durant is better suited as Spider-Man.

And why is Kobe Iron Man? Tony Stark has ALWAYS been the man, Kobe had Shaq early in his career. I think Kobe is more like NightWing, former Robin that turned solo.

IMO

Lebron=Superman
Wade=Flash
Bosh=Aquaman

I like the Bobcats cover though. Jordan as Nick Fury is perfect.

I surmise the reasoning as Kobe being Iron Man as Kobe is a malcontent, like Tony Stark, who's brash and egocentric.

You're assessment of Lebron being Superman is dumb, especially coming from a Comic Geek as you stated earlier in the thread.

In terms of personality, yes its off, but in terms of skill, I'm spot on.

Lebron is just like Superman, he is the best and most recognized player in the league just like Superman in theory is the best and most recognized figiue in his universe. Superman and Lebron are both unstoppable, strength, speed. stamina and above extraordinary superhuman powers among their peers.

Actually Kobe is more like Superman if you look at who's the most recognized, has had the most longevity, especially in reference to Jersey, shoe sales world wide. US, CHINA and Europe, where he tops all players.

Now in comparison to physical aptitudes, yes Lebron has the tools.

No way morons.

LMAO if anyone is Super Man, it is LeBron.

One of the most dominant players of all time, and the physique and physical capabilities aspect matches. LeBron is a physical freak. At 6'8" 250 lbs of lean muscle, can't find better athletes than him, and we see it every night during regular season when he rises above everyone, and smashes on everyone.

If anyone is Superman it's Shaq.

Unfortunately it's 2010 and Shaq is nothing but an overweight slob.

Just cus he has a superman tattoo and puts superman emblems all over his Hummer doesn't mean he is superman.

Lebron is an athletic freak. It can't be anyone other than Lebron or Dwight, and I give the edge to Bron because he's by far a better player.

Cool artwork -- very, very cool.

Kobe is Iron Man because he'll play through anything. Not that that's always a good thing. :lol

This has been done in the past as well. I think when I was in LA for the All-Star game that they had several players as Superheroes.

I remember a Time magazine article for Tim and his love for comics, among other things.

As a youngster, Duncan collected comic books like The Fantastic Four, and his fascination with superheroes and action stars has continued into adulthood. His new home in San Antonio is filled with a collection of replica knives from the action and kung fu movies that he loves, like "Blade." He proudly sports two big tattoos on his torso: depictions of Merlin the Wizard and a Joker.

Aha...I knew I was right. But Marvel Comics is better all around. But yeah I had Hardwood Heroes given to me at All-Star Jam.

Superman destroys Iron Man any time of the day

with all due respect I would never want to be Superman...Superman was brought down by a horse...so Lebron or Shaq can wear that particular cape...
