That is my belief as well.

I don't think they really think they're championship material right now. I'm sure they want to be as competitive as possible but Gregg Popovich is a realist.

in fact i agree bout it...............spurs were pretty good a while back but there game is slippin BIG time...................u cant be slippin & win a ship..........u have to get better every day to be da best............................

On that note you also cannot be overrated trash that gets swept by lowly teams like the Phoenix Suns either in order to be championship worthy.
