I don't get it. With the recruits that UT gets how can they be so bad at home?

That's the running theme this year.
My honest take is
1) we offer these kids as sophmores turning into juniors how well can you really evaluate?
2) mack brown has this stupid network of Texas high school coaches where I think he owes them favors by taking on suck ass, good academic, christian, unathletic recruits who are in turn also overrated by the rivals ranking system
3) we also just are very weak in targeting true offensive difference makers even when we target the legit blue chips
Course that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Dude, you could have had the Rodgers brothers. I can't imagine what those kids would do with the kind of offensive linemen that Texas gets.

How about;
4) the talent is not the problem

The coaches are doing a very bad job too, no doubt. But I was responding to Tlong's message about talent quality and was keeping it in that arena.

Man Aggie prob gonbeat longhorns by like 70 points this year
You know how Jerrod Johnson made his entire reputation off of playing us. He will become superman again and throw like 8 TD's no INT's and the whole nation will forget how horrible he is. Cuz he will be paying an even more horrible team.
