According to the Turkish media, 11-time all-star guard Allen Iverson is closing on a deal that would send him to Turkey.

Sources close to the situation have revealed that Iverson and his camp were able to overcome difficulties on negotiations regarding ad revenues, which was previously believed as a potential deal breaker. Besiktas eventually gave in to Iverson’s demands. He is expected to arrive in Istanbul tomorrow.

Once the deal becomes official, Besiktas will complete the biggest transfer in Turkish Basketball history. Besiktas agreed to pay Iverson $1.5M. The team originally wanted to cut Iverson’s ad profits in Turkey. When Iverson quickly rejected the idea, the team’s managers made their research and eventually concluded that it was for the best of the team to give in to Iverson’s demands, thus agreeing to the original proposal.

Besiktas are preparing a contract signing show for the 11-time NBA all-star. They are also expecting serious profit from club products, which were specifically designed for Iverson.

Iverson last played in the NBA with Philadelphia during the 2009-10 season. He averaged 13.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 25 games.
