Because Barry had two defenders and Bruce had none, Bruce's defender collapsed on him and Bruce was open...I agree it was a stupid play because he could not get any closer to the basket unless he was sitting in and it's just stupid to pass it to Bowen like that...but it was just playing team ball...too unselfish though. Hubie said the same thing...sometimes you have to be selfish and if Barry has a flaw it's that he never is. You guys call that pussy...I call it being too much of a team player. That's what everyone was saying after his other big game against the Suns when he hit a clutch three late in the 4th to tie it, an even clutcher three to take the lead, and the clutchest three from about five feet behind the three point line with the shot clock winding down in OT to finish the Suns off. Didn't stop people from labeling Barry a pussy and the worst player in NBA history. Since this is the playoffs I'd like to think the "fans" might actually try supporting him for a while, but I don't really expect it to last long.
