I believe he meant to say can't

I wouldn't call it Freudian. "Freudian" means saying what's on your mind when you don't mean to. Hubie Brown has never been a Spurs basher.
He might have said "can't" and his diction covered it up.
He might have also been making a point by saying the opposite (mild sarcasm).

Yea he was talking about the suns bench not the spurs. I am pretty sure that is why it is being called a freudian slip.
