Come on Aggie!! Barry brought it today, if he can play like this the rest of the series, he'll be reinvindicated!

Finally. If he can keep this up, then I will ease up on him.

I think one of Barry's best games in the regular season was against Phoenix...added to that both Robinson & Brown out for this game, he was definitely due for a good one. And he's finally got one.

I found myself (as I often do) saying in the first quarter, "Barry is freaking worthless".

I apologize Brent! :elephant

When you're playing a team like Phoenix where defense is a four letter word, you know the opportunity is going to be there for Brent.

That said, he was stoking threes from 3 ft. behind the arc today, awesome.

Brent Barry is a loser. I bet him to be the leading scorer, and he was six points away.

He got open shots for the first time in a while and he took them. This is the series where he earns his paycheck, and he's already caused the Suns to have to try to make an adjustment. Even if he lays an egg in the second game, as long as he plays the same way it's advantage: Spurs in a big way.

Suns to have to try to make an adjustment

That is what is beautifull.

Adjust to Barry, GInobili or Parker takes advantage, adjust to them, Duncan takes advantage.

Some adjustments on the defensive end, and keep being agressive on the offensive end, and this series is lookin good.

The Suns adjustment will be doubling Tim more often. That means our guards are gonna have to hit their shots.

The Suns adjustment will be doubling Tim more often

kick it out, and let Ginobili and Parker attack the rim, and Horry and Barry bag shots.

I think Barry has turned a corner, and he might be in one of his big shooting phases right now.

Next game?? Feed him the ball.

Speaking only for myself, all is forgiven, Brent Barry. Fantastic job today. (But I still like Manu as the starter.)

Once Jake Voskhul enters the game it's time to light our victory cigars.
