Yeah, there's is no way the Rockets can compete for a title with Brooks and Martin at their starting backcourt. You need play DEFENSE if your going to compete. Brooks will NEVER be a good defensive player, his quickness helps but he's just too damn small. If I were the Rockets, I'd trade him while he is in his prime to get a passing/defensive minded point guard. EX: Chauncey Billups.

When Lowry gets back he will help our D at the pg position. Depending on the matchup, you may see him start. Martin isn't a great defender, but through two games he has played slightly above average. So, until he starts to revert, I won't say his D is a weakness because, so far it hasn't been.
