Last night during ESPN’s pre-game show ESPN analyst Chris Broussard reported that Philadelphia 76ers wing player Andre Iguodala asked Sixers management to trade him. Broussard stated that the Sixers and Bulls were in preliminary talks to swap Iguodala for Luol Deng.

Deng, a former Duke player is apparently a favorite of new Sixers coach Doug Collins. Collins’ son Chris is the Associate Head Coach for Duke’s basketball team and once coached Deng.

Use those assets Morey. We need a replacement for Mr. Intangibles immediately!!:lol

Iggy wants out????

Well fuck, the Sixers have been trying to get rid of him for a while if the return was right. His salary is too big, there's no way he should ever be the best player on any team...

As much as I like Butler, it would be sweet if the Mavs could trade him and Barea for Iggy.

Who is "Mr. Intangibles?"

Iggy is a solid player but slightly overrated and way overpaid.

Not sure who he'd be a good fit on any of the contenders or sub contenders looking to gain ground.

I think he's a good player destined to be the best player on bad teams.

Shane "The Turtle" Battier.

Shane "The Turtle" Battier.

If he went to Houston I'd think that the Rockets have sacrificed too many glue guys for shot happy ball dominators.

Kevin Martin is bad enough but to add Iggy would probably be counter productive. Think Mark Cuban Dallas Mavericks.

I would imagine you'd have to throw in Chase Budinger and possibly a first round pick too.

Welcome to Denver Iggy :toast

He will be part of a Melo trade with Philly being the 3rd team. it is so obvious that it has to happen.

Besides, why would he want to go to Houston and play with Bosh? :hat

I'd gladly take him on my team. The Suns don't have enough SF's.

Iggy sucks.

Funny considering the state of San Antonio's perimeter defense these days.

Iggy as a spur would be interesting, doubt it will happen though. The real scenario I see is him either going to NY, CHI, or Den

Yeah there's zero chance that would happen, it's basically impossible

Iguodala is a nice player. I would like to see him stay in Philly, though.

we already have redundant talents at SG/F hence it has little to do with us where Iggy goes.

the suns are short of talents at any given position. selling amare cheap is clear enough a sign their aim will be renovating for the next a few seasons, so it doesn't matter at all how deep their current squad is.

an iggy for deng trade would be very good for the bulls.

he would do a world of good for any team if he could be acquired cheaply. the mavs will be pioneering the pursuit for him since they still think they're contenders and are willing to spend big money. i would want iggy if he was 5 to 6 mill a year while in reality he earns 10+ mill which is clearly beyond our power to afford. we would get robbed if we traded two of our rotational players for iggy because our players all have high quality-price ratio. yao & martin are the only big contracts we have but both of them are indispensable for our team.

Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, Josh Childress, Earl Clark, you guys clearly need a few more. :lol

Washington should work a deal, Gilbert Arenas for Iguodala.

John Wall
Andre Iguodala
Josh Howard
Andray Blatche
JaVale McGee

You could make a playoff team out of those guys if Blatch and McGee improve.

Gilbert Arenas
Evan Turner
Thaddeus Young
Elton Brand
Spencer Hawes

They've got some decent depth too, Louie Williams, Jrue Holiday, Speeights, etc.

With the Sixers being in financial hell, they aren't going to want Gilbert Arenas, or any large contract for that matter. Especially with Brand's ER ass sitting there.

If the Bulls could manage to get a lineup together consisting of -

Rose
Korver
Iguodala
Boozer
Noah

... that would be very, very good.

I would think it would be Shane "The Shar-Pei" Battier with all those fucking wrinkles and flaps on his scalp.
