hopefully its a quick hitter like the cmc suggests and hits the eastern tip of Cuba. They would still get hit by the worst part of the storm but at least its not a direct hit.

Yeah, I haven't had much of a chance to look at the models/maps. Still exhausted from the rally yesterday, so I just woke up. :lol

What is the forecast for intensity? Could he still deepen to major?

Good news is that dry air and shear kicked the shit out of Tomas over the past 2 days. The bad news is that it survived and is now aiming right at Haiti and has a lot of hot water in its path.

Thomas is dumping torrential rains on haiti. We're lucky he's not stronger, but the rain is far worse than the wind.

What a sad, rough year for Haiti.
