^^^ That's about the total number of kids we've seen at the house tonight. WTF parents, you're not letting the kids go b/c it's a freaking Sunday night?

We had only one kid come. That was one more than last year.

Our neighborhood was insane for trick-or-treating. I made 125 treat bags and ran out of that and had to start busting into our personal stash before we finally turned the lights off at 8:00.

On the streets were wall-to-wall people. One of our neighbors had rented a popcorn machine and was passing out that to the kids. It was a cool idea. :)

We get a lot of people from other neighborhoods that come here ... but there were some seriously awesome costumes tonight, so it was fun.

Yea we had tons of people, lots of little ones. My son and the other teenage boys in the neighborhood always put on a haunted house and this year it was really great, all I heard all evening was kids SCREAMING :lol It was a nice night, all the neighbors were out, good fun :)

It's not a ghetto, but that's not what I would call it, by a long shot. Just a lot of families, I guess. :lol

Plus, at least 95% of the people in my neighborhood participate. Hardly a light off. :)

That's cool that so many people participate in your neighborhood. I think in our area, the families might be older - so not many trick-or-treaters. Or maybe it's just the houses are too far apart and no one wants to walk :lol

Where we moved from had houses far apart like that ... the kids were toddlers and after about 3 or 4 houses they were ready to go home. :lol

I took my kids to my grandma's and when we were kids, it was active. But we're all older now with our own kids, so not so much. But about 2 blocks down, my kids scored me, I mean themselves a huge loot of candy.

Same neighborhood, only 2 blocks apart. It's all a matter of area.

We too had lots of kids come by and almost all the neighbors had their lights on. Good time and saw great costumes and great kids.

I never get Trick or treaters...guess it's that long dark walk up the driveway that scares em off...

Went to Wurstfest instead and ended up out at Riley's Tavern in Hunter for horseshoes and lots more Shiner Bock...

To answer the OP's question, No. we hardly ever give candy out. Mainly because we usually go to a party. But we gave out candy about 4 years ago and didnt have any issues that I can remember. However, I was at a party last night where candy was being given out and I did notice one thing that pisses the ever living shit out of me. No manners!!! This is in general. But to keep with the topic, hardly anyone ever says trick or treat or thankyou. I see it as bad manners if you come to the house with your fucking bag open dont say a fucking thing and then just leave. I could just punch some of these people. It's the mentality of the parents that's rubbing off on these little bastards.

I teach my kids to be respectful and mind their manners and I chastise them if they ever slip. But I also teach my kids to defend them selves pretty well. Because for what ever dam reason having good manners can be misconstrued to being a pussy or pushover. Some little bastards learn this the hard way with my kids. Is it that hard to have a little courtesy?

Ive been given shit about this before on here and I've explained too many times. It's out of habit from posting habitually in another forum. As long as I continue to post here I'm sure that I'll get the same shitty attempt at sarcasm. Your not the first and prolly wont be the last. So your right in the middle. Where you belong. In the middle where little cunts should be. Good day carry on.

If I had a better phone, I would have taken pics of the two sexy cops I saw at work on Sunday night. I'm not 100 percent sure but it looked like a mother and daughter duo and they were pretty attractive too.
