Hornets stifle the 121-63ers on Friday night and stomp the Deferring to Janero "muthafuckin" Pargos last night on their home floor, and the Saints salvage their season for now with a solid win against the Steelers.

Texas basketball in general has been pretty worthless.

Gonna be a fantastic season.

I really thought the Hornets were going to be blown out by the Spurs, since it was the second night of a back to back and it was in San Antonio.

If they keep playing like this, they can be a top four seed.

Hornets can be just as good as any team in the West outside of LA..all those teams are bunched up..

Drew Brees got me my 10 points I needed in FF this week, won me 250$:toast..

Raiders won today, as well.

But you strike me more as a Chargers fan. They usually attract all the homosexuals.

Yeah, I definitely didn't expect last night's win, especially getting a big lead by playing strong defense. Nice surprise.

I like what I'm seeing from the Raiders. Back-to-back massacres and now a big game with the Chiefs coming to town. Looks like Campbell is establishing himself as the guy now.

I'm glad Brees stepped up the way he did. I don't like to say it, but he basically cost the Saints two games this season and was the biggest reason why the team was struggling. Hopefully he can get it going because the schedule is not bad and the NFC isn't as tough as expected.

NFL - Cardinals lost a stupid fucking game against the Bucs
NCAAFB - Arizona won again, still #15 in the rankings, looking ahead to next week against Stanford
NBA - Jazz, Lakers, Heat, and Hornets all won, all bad things

IM, did you see my decree in the NFL forum?

Any Laker fan who has never previously contributed to the NFL forum caught posting there to bandwagon a Raiders playoff run, will be regulated without mercy (looking at you, Luva).

I ain't tolerating a post-Gasol trade type of situation with the Raiders, where fans suddenly pop up to frontrun.

IronMexican

luva has already stated he was a Raider fan. Maybe if you actually spent any time in there besides when they weren't complete dog-shit, you would know that. But I don't expect a Raider fan who just started posting there this season to know that.

NBA - Lakers regulated, per the usual.
NCAAFB - The Hurricoons lost to another shitty team, but I got to see Jacory Harris injured (made the day, tbh)
NHL - Panthers won on saturday
NFL - waiting for the draft

Um, nice try. But I didn't really become active on this board till after last year's Superbowl. I had like 60 posts when I made the thread that created the Kobe sticky. And nothing of note happened during the off-season to warrant posting besides getting rid of Purple Drank.

And they started off the season playing like complete dog-shit. And I was there.

Don't come at me, "I really got into the Raiders during the Gruden-Gannon-era" Raiderfan.

I been through Mike White, Mike Shanahan, Joe Bugle, Todd Marinovich, Jeff George, the season where they started 8-2 and lost 6 in a row, along with a host of other frustrations.

IronMexican

Pre-Gruden-Gannon era fan, brah.

Only a year prior, though. I remember watching the Raiders blow about a million games with Mike Husted missing kicks. And of course, they eliminated the Chiefs from the playoffs with a last second win that year. You remember this argument? Jeff George, or Bobby Hoying?

I actually don't. I don't think he ever got a significant amount of snaps. Why anyone would even argue in his favor is beyond me. But you know what they say, "the backup QB is always the most popular player on the team," so I'm sure it happened.

I remember that game...Raiders won 41-38 over Gunther and the Chiefs, keeping them out and putting the Seahawks (in Holmgren's first year) in the playoffs.

xic, the goods, the greats, and the absolutely wonderfuls par the course, per the usual, per this time of year what we've come to expect here at ST's waning moments;:::::the darkest hour, perfect storm forboding, Kori-girl loosening the iron fist, vp crumbling under the pressure, here you are, xic, alone at the top of the mountain standing as the Voice of Reason.

All hope was lost, xic, yet you came through and delivered the goods;::::twixt 59-14 where you guys left Orton dead in the ground building a shoestore up his ass in the process.
