Here we go boys!! Biggest game in the history of the MWC and one of the biggest games of the season. Winner will most likely be the nonAQ team that will have the best shot at getting to the title game. Should be one hell of a game and I'll be there :)

I went to the Utah USAFA game and... well, I just wasn't very impressed with Utah. AF is a nice team, but not all that. They barely beat Wymo, lost at SDSU, got killed by TCU, and had a chance to win even tho they had4 or 5 turnovers in the 4th qtr against Utah.

Just not impressed. They look like a good squad, but I couldn't see that they were any better at most skill positions that AF, they didn't look faster than AF, and it wasn't even the bet I've seen AF play by FAR.

I think TCU shuts them down easy and its a whoopin by the 4th. Something like 35 - 17 or thereabouts.

Typical response from someone who has only seen them play once this season and has no idea how the Utah/Air Force series always plays out. The games are ALWAYS close. Air Force is a good team, and Utah beat them in Colorado Springs. TCU was at home and AFA hung with them until TCU's team speed wore them out. Also, AFA only lost to SDSU by 2 points. The same SDSU team that should be undefeated today but isn't due to a blown call in Missouri and a screw job at BYU.

Utah was a 4th down drop away from extending that lead to 35-10 over Air Force. They let up in the 4th quarter and missed two huge assignments on defense that led to the two big AF plays that cut into the lead.

Did Utah play their best? Hell no. This was their worst performance of the season and they still won on the road against a team that was once in the top 20. A team that almost beat Oklahoma in Norman.

In 2008 Utah had to come from behind to beat Air Force in Colorado Springs. You might recall that's the same Utah team that finished #2 at the end of the season, and the same team that beat TCU.

If Utah is as slow and as unskilled and and unwilling to put a team away and lets a much lesser team play close every year as they did against AF, then TCU will kill them.

If you get ESPN you will get this game on CBS College Sports. Anyone with the basic cable package, which ESPN is on, will get CBS College Sports for free this weekend, so it will be in most homes. The problem is that most people won't know where to find it.

TCU is the clear favorite but I really think Utah can/will pull the upset. I definitely think Utah was looking ahead to this game before they played AF last week and it showed. TCU's defense is probably the best in the nation but Utah can definitely score. I'm going Utah with the upset.

damn, Utah and the whole MWC is weak this year, BSU will have played a tougher schedule than TCU once the season is over

Hawaii and Fresno St. ≈ Utah
BSU > TCU

I don't care if BSU gets left out of the championship game for an undefeated Oregon or a one loss SEC team or whatever, but not for TCU, TCU is'n any better than the team BSU beat last year, and BSU is better.
