No. The Senate won't be taken. Boxer running into the safe zone was a harbinger.
Now the Dems have been landing flight after flight of attorneys & agents into Nevada since this morning in order to save his seat as well. Even at 16% reported unemployment in the state Reid will still hold there going away at 53%-48%.
We got the plane away from Pelosi. It's still gridlock for the next two years, but, Hussein Obama is on notice. He's next.

Love to see Wyden ousted, but I'm not betting on it. Too many damn libtards in Oregon that like that demonrat.
If Wyden loses... it may be the death of democrats as we know them.

I see Republicans picking up 8 seats at best. They aren't gonna let Harry Reid lose. They will keep recounting till he wins and SEICU services their voting machines.

I'm not so sure about Harry Reid. The Justice department has taken notice of the allegations of voter fraud and this race is going to be watched very carefully. Angle has about a 4% lead going into today - and it seems she has the momentum.
It would be great if the Republicans can take the Senate, but I think it's a long shot at this point. But we'll have to see how the night unfolds - if the republican wave is strong enough, it might just affect some of the races in the west.

I think Boxer is safe in California .... something about business people running the state that doesn't sit right with Californians, even though we elected a movie start as governor. Can vote for a woman (Meg Whitman) who will spend 150 million dollars of her own money for a gig that pays a couple hundred grand. There's something behind that because she sure as hell wouldn't do that in the business world. Only in politics can that shit happen.

Exactly my point. You view this as a competition to see who can "win" against the other person, rather than a forum for open discussion.
I listen to every reasonable viewpoint on the forum, even from people like Parker2112. I don't expect to convince anyone to completely agree with me, nor is that my goal. But talking here is a nice way to -- insults aside -- see other points of view and debate various issues.

Senate is not going to change hands - West Virginia was just called for the democrat. McMahon lost in CT and O'Donnell lost in Delaware - not unexpected. I thought the WV race would be closer considering Obama has less than 30% approval in the state - but the governor is very popular - and he prevailed.

Well, republicans I think will have the last three uncalled seats.
In Colorado, it is favoring the republican. In Washington, the democrat is favored, but more of the eastern states that are primarily conservative are the majority of the unreported. As for Alaska, the democrat only had 25% last I saw. The write ins outnumber the republican 39% to 35%. However, I heard there are 160 write in candidates. Either way, it's a republican vote, which ever wins.

Look, I don't know if my list was complete or not. Fact is though, I was correct by the list I used, and I posted the list in a different thread. I was correct by that list. What I will do is compile the results of both lists for the senate. I'm not going to bother adding the others because of time. Murkowski probably did win. However, we don't know that till the write in votes are tallied. Write in got 41%. Miller got 34.2%. Now I would say it is statistically impossible that enough of the write in votes were not for Murkowski if there were not so many write in candidates. However, there were more than 150 of them. If we assume each of them average 200 people, then that is 30000 votes. So far, the vote is 81,876 for write ins vs. 68,288 for Miller, or just a 13,588 difference. We don't know why there were so many write in candidate. For all I know, maybe it is normal for Alaska. Unless you can provide some good insight to Alaska politics, I suggest being cautious over who won.

Joe Miller supporters flooded the write-in rolls and were able to get dozens of names added to the list.
Right now, that 41% is for ALL write-ins.
Conventional wisdom says most (enough, anyway) are for Murkowski. But, that won't be known until they are counted.
What would be cool is if there were more than one Murkowski on the write-in ballot. The voter would have to differentiate.

OK Bum. My list would have tea party supported candidates at 10/3/2 for win/loss/undecided. Adding those on your list makes it 13/4/2. Percentage wise, they are now 68.42%/21.05%/10.53% with your list, bettering 66.67%/20.00%/13.33% from my list.
Let me clarify my earlier point. Just because a tea party organization or Sarah Palin endorsed a candidate, it is not the same as actually receiving volunteers or money from a Tea Party organization. I don't know the status from the four I added from your list, but really. Why do you make such a big beak of it when my underlying point remains?

I didn't read his posts like that. His saying they flooded the rolls could be that he had people purposely vote for his write in name. As for being cool if voters had to differentiate, they do.
