so Jamarcus is in better cardiovascular condition to run the 2 minute drill than McNabb and Rex?

damn, the Redskins are trying their hardest to be stupider than the Vikings.

For three months, Russell has been working with former NBA head coach John Lucas in Houston in an effort to get a second chance in the NFL.

So JMR is actually the BP Oil Spill and has been eating all our Gulf seafood?

LOL, I'd rather be 1-6 than be in the process of considering JaMarcus Russel to replace my uninjured, prize off-season acquisition QB.

Bad idea, and not just for the Skins...if JaMarcus Russell comes into physical contact with Albert Haynesworth, the resulting collision of fat, wasted potential molecules will cause a black hole to form, utterly annihilating Washington D.C., Maryland, and parts of Virginia.

Yeah fucking right. True, this news makes me want to puke but imagine the chode bloading if Jamarcus came back and dominated the league??!!??!!??!?!?!?!?!?

In any event, 1-6 is LOOOOOOOOOOOOLable for a long time. That did make me feel better.

That's really sad that you bench Donovan McNabb because he's out of shape and then talk to Jamarcus.

Can WAS release Dmac and signed by other teams?
He can save the Cardinal's season but I doubt redskins will help other teams by releasing him.

The Redskins aren't going to replace McNabb with Russel and they're not going to waive McNabb. Even if they benched McNabb for Grossman they'd keep McNabb around since he's under contract. Russel if anything at all - would be a long term project and I can't say I'd be totally against that. Probably not gonna get shit out of it but low risk high reward I guess.

Sorry but teams don't typically waive future hall of famers mid season. The Vikings are just that fucking dumb.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Russell weighed in at 286 pounds.

Although the 6-foot-6 Russell has said he's working hard at getting himself into shape, the scale would suggest otherwise. At the scouting combine in 2007, Russell looked pudgy when he weighed in at 265 pounds. So if he's now 21 pounds heavier than that, he probably has a lot of work to do on the cardiovascular endurance that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan says is so important.

He can't be serious about trying to come back if he's weighing in at 286.
